Joined from Kemer – 2365 meters of panoramic beauty
Tahtalı Mountain is one of the most scenic points where the sea meets the sky on the Mediterranean coast. We didn’t want to miss it, so we joined the Olympos Cable Car tour from Kemer. Once we reached the summit, the view far exceeded our expectations. Here’s our experience step by step:
Hotel Pickup and Journey to the Cable Car Station
In the morning, we were picked up from our hotel in a comfortable vehicle. After about 30–40 minutes, we arrived at the lower cable car station located at 726 meters altitude. The final 7 km stretch winds through a narrow mountain road surrounded by pine forests, offering a scenic drive.

Ascent with the Olympos Cable Car
After getting our tickets, we boarded the next cabin and reached the 2365-meter summit in about 10 minutes. The cabin was spacious and featured panoramic glass windows.

✔ You might spot wild goats and birds of prey along the way
✔ There are plenty of chances to take photos — try to stand by the window for the best view
Tip: Bring a light jacket, especially on windy days, as the summit can be cool and the weather may change quickly.

When we reached the top, we were welcomed by a breathtaking view. On clear days, you can see the coastline stretching from Alanya to Finike.

Descent and Return
After spending around an hour at the summit, we took the cable car back to the lower station. Our vehicle was waiting there to take us back to the hotel.
